Michael Pistiner, MD
Michael Pistiner, MD, MMSc, FAAP, is a pediatric allergist and the Director of Food Allergy Advocacy, Education and Prevention at Mass General for Children, Harvard Medical School. Dr. Pistiner has served as Chair of the Food Allergy Management in Schools Advisory Council and member of the CDC/USDA Workgroup for School Guideline Development for Managing Food Allergy in School. Dr. Pistiner has been deeply engaged in school food allergy advocacy and education at the local, state and national level. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics Section on Allergy and Immunology and Council on School Health.
Monica Auslander Moreno, RDN
Monica Auslander Moreno, MS, RDN is the founder of Essence Nutrition, a group practice of registered dietitians and psychotherapists based in Miami. Before opening her practice, she completed her undergraduate education at the University of Florida and earned her Master’s of Dietetics and Nutrition at Florida International University. She currently is also the lead fertility dietitian at Ovum Health, and the Miami Expansion Manager of Expecting Together, a prenatal healthcare and social incubator. She also was the founding formula dietitian behind Mamala Postpartum Support Snacks. She was previously employed as a clinical pediatric dietitian at Jackson Memorial Hospital and as the visiting RD specialist at Ocean Reef Resort and Club, as the team RD for the Miami Marlins, and as an adjunct professor at the University of Miami, Florida International University, and Keiser University. Monica has spoken at national nutrition and wellness conferences and delivered hundreds of nutrition presentations over her career, She is based in Miami, is a certified Pilates instructor and mother of two little boys. She speaks English and Spanish.
Amanda Orlando
Amanda Orlando is the author of 3 cookbooks about food allergies, and the blogger behind Everyday Allergen-Free. She runs a non-profit organization called Free To Be Me, which focuses on community connection and good mental health for those living with atopic conditions and mast cell diseases. She lives in Toronto with her husband and children.
